things break. most can be fixed.

so the title kinda represents my current state of mind.  yesterday was a pessimistic outing - but today...well im just keeping an open mind.  im not gonna list out the things that have seemed to backfire - suffice it to say there's been several.  even still - most of them can be resolved in some way or another.  but let's move on.

the end of the year is very rapidly approaching.  this confuses me.  mostly in the weather.  i feel like there was more than one week of classes where there was beautiful weather and people hanging out on eddies and frisbee at night.  this time around - well we have less than two weeks until the last day of classes and tomorrow it looks to finally hit 70 degrees.  it seems later than usual but maybe im wrong.

one week until spring weekend.  i need to dust off my plaid shorts and invest in some aviators, maybe even a visor or trucker hat (are they still cool) to prepare for an afternoon with guster.  this will be my first spring weekend concert - missed the past two years.  i think it could be a lot of fun, though.

of those 25 new albums i have started listening to each individually after getting a taste of each by a giant 320 song shuffle.  i really like the Miniature Tigers album.  Mono goes back and forth from explosions in the sky to a movie score, if you like that sort of thing.  Great Lake Swimmers is nice and somber.  No real disappointments, but i find myself continually going back to the Yeah Yeah Yeahs album - It's Blitz.

Ok - this thing is getting long - who knows if you are still reading  - if you are..wish me luck today...hoping the cost of repairs on my PA does not exceed two digits - if so..i might be officially broke.
