so today, after almost 6 months without taking any medication for anything i buckled and got some benedryl. After realizing how unquestioningly and how often i was taken asprin of some sort for almost daily headaches i decided that not only was this probably not healthy it also wasnt allowing my immune system to work on its own. at that point i stopped taking any and all medication and got pretty lucky with never really having to question it until now. its not that im against taking medication, but i felt as though at the time i was probably taking too much too often.
anyway since midday yesterday my allergies have been acting up causing me to lose sleep, appetite, and struggle to swallow. i went to wallgreens today after using some temporary-relief home remedies and bought some benedryl. the ability for that medicine to make you drowsy on top of having not taken any meds in awhile and not having eaten much that day caused my afternoon to be quite interesting. im on my 3 set now (take every 4 hours) and im dragging so im gonna call it a night. heres hoping this is behind me tomorrow.
